These medications may be considered when there is a clear therapeutic indication, when non‑controlled alternatives have been evaluated, and when the expected benefits outweigh the potential risks.

Appointments must be cancelled within 24 hours of the appointment time. Late cancellations or missed appointments will be charged the full appointment fee.
In the event of an emergency, special considerations may be made at the discretion of the provider.

Moonlight Psychiatry is not paneled with any insurance carriers at this time. We believe that a lack of third-party oversight and associated restrictions allow for more flexible, individualized and holistic care tailored to your specific needs.
This helps foster a trusting and therapeutic relationship where the focus remains on your well-being rather than on paperwork and policy compliance.
We are happy to provide a superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

Frequency of visits depend on a number of factors, including severity of symptoms and if we are adjusting or adding new medications.
For those receiving prescriptions for controlled substances, I require a follow up appointment every three months.

I prefer to meet with new clients in person so I can accurately assess your current state of wellness. Once we both feel that a certain level of stability and engagement has been achieved, we can safely transition to a mix of in person and virtual care.
